Minimalistic Foggy Mood
On the way back home from photo assignment in Istria, I decided not to take highway through the hinterland, but instead to drive along the Adriatic coast, from Rijeka to Split. The weather was foggy and grey for days. Not a single island on the horizon was visible, thick fog was hiding them for days, so the opportunity for some minimalistic photography was really fantastic. All I needed were some interesting subjects.
From the car, nice small port caught my eye and I decided to pull over to make some photos. It was in Sveti Juraj – a small village on the coast, under the mighty Velebit mountain in Croatia.
There were fishermen, seagulls, boats, small piers – just enough subjects. The whole series was created in some 20 minutes, during the short walk in the port. I hope you’ll enjoy it :)
