Villa Dream Pearl

Villa Dream Pearl sits on a rocky stretch of coastline in Primošten, above the sea with direct access to the shore. Three levels of clean white volumes, floor-to-ceiling glass, and walnut wood accents soften the minimalism and give the house warmth. Inside, five en-suite bedrooms and an open-plan living space flow directly onto the pool terrace and infinity pool, which seems to drop straight into the Adriatic. Altogether, the design is meant to blur the line between inside and out.

Clean lines, golden light

Photographing a villa this minimal means every detail matters. There are no ornate features to hide behind, so the whole shoot depends on geometry, materials, and light. I followed the sun through the day, starting with bright midday images that showed the white interiors and turquoise pool at their clearest. Later, I waited for the afternoon light to move across the walnut kitchen wall and the marble dining table. Lifestyle details – breakfast on the terrace, a hat on the daybed, and whiskey in the master suite – were there to help the images convey more than just the space itself: atmosphere, emotion, and the feeling of staying there.

From sunset to blue hour

The evening brought the strongest frames. The infinity pool reflected the full sunset, the glass façade began to glow from within at twilight, and the aerial views revealed the full scale of the property – three terraced levels stepping down toward the sea. One of the last photographs of the night focused on the entrance, with its vertical wooden slat façade, and for me it remained one of the strongest.
