Aminess Avalona Camping Resort

Aminess Avalona Camping Resort sits on a peninsula on the southern tip of Pag island, surrounded by sea on three sides, with views stretching across the Adriatic to the Velebit mountain. It opened as a brand-new five-star campsite, and the accommodation reflects that ambition – from beachfront mobile homes under the pines with private pools and bright, contemporary interiors, to timber-clad glamping villas on the northern side of the resort, looking out toward the bay and Velebit. The resort also includes an infinity pool overlooking the bay, aquapark, playgrounds, a restaurant designed in a clean contemporary style, and premium pitches where even campervans have their own pool.

The shoot was spread across two full days, a month apart, as the resort was still being finished. Each visit meant arriving the evening before, staying overnight in one of the mobile homes, and then working across the full site the following day. It was demanding but satisfying, and the variety of spaces kept every frame different.
