Aleksandar VII – Luxury Megayacht

Aleksandar VII is a 46-meter luxury yacht I photographed along the Croatian coast – sleek and contemporary, with clean lines spread across four deck levels. The interior is defined by warm honey oak paneling and contemporary art, with one standout feature: a full glass rotunda at the stern that houses the formal dining area and opens to panoramic views on three sides. On deck, three distinct outdoor living areas are arranged across the levels, from the main aft lounge to the sundeck with its jacuzzi, dining area, and sunpads.

Wind on every deck

Strong wind was the constant challenge across both shooting days – knocking over glasses and table decorations on the outdoor decks, and pushing the drone off course during aerial shots. The evening shoot was dedicated to the sundeck – the jacuzzi lit in green against a golden sky, the dining table styled with lanterns as the islands faded into silhouette. The designer in charge of staging had her hands full throughout, and the crew was a huge help as well, so the whole shoot really felt like a team effort.

Come dawn, I was already on the move, capturing aerial shots and the lower decks in the first warm light – though the wind had not eased then either. The glass dining area lit from within, paired with the aft deck in early morning light, became one of the key frames of the shoot.
