Capturing Elegance – A Modern Villa in Trogir, Croatia

I photographed this modern villa in Trogir, a project defined by a clear architectural idea focused on openness, privacy, and a strong relationship between interior and exterior spaces. Although the villa is surrounded by neighbouring houses, the architecture is designed to provide privacy through carefully positioned exterior walls, without compromising openness or light.

What makes the villa particularly distinctive is the semi-covered swimming pool, which connects directly to the living room and kitchen. When the glass walls are fully opened, the interior and exterior merge into a single, continuous space. The architecture is minimalist and restrained, with clean lines, light surfaces, and carefully controlled proportions. While photographing the villa, my focus was on showing how these elements work together — how space flows, how privacy is achieved, and how the design remains elegant and calm despite its urban setting.
